Come laugh for a great cause!
Join comedians Paul Farahvar, Ana Belaval, and other special guests for a hilarious afternoon benefiting the American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA) Illinois Chapter.
For both Paul and Ana, this cause is deeply personal. Each has lost a parent who lived with Parkinson’s disease, making this benefit and the opportunity to support other families facing Parkinson’s especially meaningful to them.  The event brings together comedy, community, and a personal commitment to supporting people affected by Parkinson’s.
Television reporter and four-time Emmy Award winner Ana Belaval co-headlines the event with comedian Paul Farahvar.  Ana is one of the most beloved members of Chicago’s #1 morning show, WGN Morning News, and an award-winning journalist with 30 years of experience reporting in English and Spanish. In addition to her daily reporting, Ana has performed stand-up comedy in English, Spanish, and “Spanglish” for more than a decade.
Chicago’s own Paul Farahvar delights audiences with quick-witted, dry humor centered on his former professional life and a child of immigrant parents.  Paul was runner-up for Best Stand Up Comedian in the Chicago Reader in 2021 and was voted one of the Top 40 Up and Coming Comedians in 2017. Before becoming a comedian, he was a trial litigator and earned a Top 40 Under 40 honor in Illinois.
Together, the afternoon offers an easy way to enjoy top local comedy while helping APDA Illinois continue serving people and families impacted by Parkinson’s.
100% of ticket proceeds as well as items form an auction will benefit APDA and help provide free programs, education, support, resources, and connection for individuals and families impacted by Parkinson’s disease.
In addition to a great comedy show, you can enjoy an auction, connect with others, and pick up free Parkinson’s information and resources.
Parkinson’s is the fastest-growing neurodegenerative disease in the world, with more than 1 million people living with Parkinson’s in the United States.  APDA is grassroots, boots-on-the-ground organization working every day to help people with Parkinson’s live life to the fullest. All APDA Illinois programs and services are provided free of charge to the Parkinson’s community.
